I hate pantyhose!!! If Im going to wear anything then its opaque or patterned tights. I always put runs in pantyhose anyways so it looks better not to wear any

of course i would wear nude tights, i would never walk around the office with bare legs. of course, it's winter now so i wear black tights.

I do not wear tights or pantyhose usually (just cause I am too cold to wear skirts and such). Tights remind me of when I was 5 and my mom put me in dresses and wool tights (SOOOOO ITCHY).
I was thinking of wearing more skirts and dresses this spring and summer, so then I would wear sheer pantyhose.
LizaToad, I thought everyone wore them too with skirts and dresses. I guess I never knew they were grandma-ish.
Can someone explain what is wrong with them? Is sheer different from nude?

In the winter tights, in the spring nude pantyhose... in the summer it's just to hot to worry about being unproffessional!

This is a tricky area for me. Where I live the climate can be warm to freezing all in one day. Therefore sheer, nude pantyhose are actually a girl's best friend (depending on the shoes she's wearing, of course).

In the dead of winter, opaque black pantyhose or textured black pantyhose are often worn by professional women.

In summer, as long as you know it's going to be a nice day it's more than acceptable to wear bare legs in an office environment - sometimes it's just too hot to wear pantyhose.

For those in-between days, leggins or cropped pantyhose are popular. I never thought I'd wear leggins again (being a child of the 80's I thought I'd been there and done that), but they're most often the more practical option for me - often I just don't know what the weather will do and with a pair of opaque leggins under a dress or skirt, I'm usually safe.

I am a secretary and it is demanded of me to wear skirts every day because being bear legget is unprofesional i need to wear them.

Yes, I wear pantyhose most of the time. Especially with shorts, because without them, shorts tend to ride up between my legs. I like nude pantyhose and all the other colors too.

I work at an office that's very laid back. We can pretty much wear what we want so my legs are bare in the summer and any other time that it's warm enough. I wear tights when it gets cooler and nude pantyhose when the tights would be too distracting.

I don't wear skirts or dresses too often, so if it's cold out when I'm wearing one, I will wear pantyhose. However, I'd NEVER wear pantyhose with open toe shoes! That is a pet peave of mine!

Hate hate hate pantyhose. They are not comfortable or attractive. Who invented these.

I need help- my mother-in-law and her mother wear knee-high pantyhose (Gasp!) The problem is that they have passed this habit onto my 23-year old sister-in-law, who even wears them with jeans sometimes! How do I politely or subliminally get her out of this serious fashion crime? Any advice is appreciated!

well im sixteen, i don't have a strict job so no i don't but i would i spose if i worked in an office. just get a good wax and a good tan and you don't need them

Nude pantyhose? Just look at my pics...I love them. The way the feel and look. Tan is my favorite....and gentlemen prefer hanes...

I am a Gentleman that simply adores a Lady in Silky Pantyhose. It is not a fetish, but a liking/passion that I have always had (for very lady-like/feminine dressed Women).

I know there are some girls that Love them, and some that loathe them.
Most Men do like them on girls (even if we are too shy to admit to such a private matter; I used to be one of them) and some guys do not.

It is not only the polished, 'finished', classier LOOK that they give to a Womans lovely Legs, but also the knowing that she likes smooth textures so much and likes to go that one last step to dressing-up. (and of course the sexy *FEEL*!)

*Note: On the sexy FEEL. If your Pantyhose do not feel very alluring/smooth/sensual [or fit well] you are most likely purchasing a rather weak brand/style. They should not itch (as long as you shave/moisturize) and they should never feel at all scratchy or coarse. When the Pantyhose 'boom' was going on in the 80's to 90's the Hosiery companies shot themselves in the foot by putting out the cheapest Pantyhose they could possibly make, thus making so many people turn away. (Like much of the music industry today!)

Luckily we are seeing more and more 'famous' people wearing alluring and sexy Hosiery again (Scarlett Johannsen, Lindsay Lohan, Zoe Daschanel, Racheal McAdams, etc...)
